Shogun Ju-Jitsu International Ireland Clubs teach the ‘Gentle Art’ of Ju-Jitsu and are part of Shogun Ju-Jitsu International, our Governing Body based in Chester, England. SJJI Ireland is Sport NI Clubmark Accredited, the 1st Ju-Jitsu and sports club in Northern Ireland to achieve this prestigious award under Sport NI and Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council.

Shogun Ju-Jitsu Ireland is headed by Paul Timperley, a 6th Dan Black Belt Master of Ju-Jitsu and Irish National Coach, partnered by his wife Mandi Timperley, a 2nd Dan Black Belt Coach and Manager of SJJI Ireland clubs. The coaching team of Paul & Mandi have all the essential current legal policies and qualifications in place as follows:

Volunteer Assistants

“This includes students, mums, dads and family members simply wanting to get involved in our clubs and help out with the children. Our Volunteer Assistants coaching programmes also allow students from 16 years and upwards to do work experience and summer placements, to gain experience and certification working with children in sport, all under our Sport NI Accredited Volunteers in Sport framework”.
